WAC is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Procurement Assistant to support the implementation of procurement processes in accordance with WAC procurement policies, procedures, and donor requirements
Job Description
Position: Part-Time Procurement Assistant
:Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of project procurement processes in compliance with WAC procurement policies, procedures, and donor requirements-
Receive and review procurement requests, prepare requests for quotations (RFQs), and communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations and required documentation-
Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and receipt of goods and services, ensuring they meet the required specifications and delivery timelines-
Maintain accurate procurement records, filing systems, and procurement databases, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and properly organized-
Prepare periodic procurement reports and coordinate with the project team, finance, and other relevant departments to facilitate timely procurement processes-
Follow up on fuel system and coordinate transportation services, including vehicles movement, to support organizational operations-
Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by the Procurement Coordinator-
:Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field-
At least two years of relevant experience in a procurement position, preferably within NGOs-
Good knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and donor compliance requirements-
Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills-
Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications-
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple procurement processes simultaneously-
Excellent communication and coordination skills-
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)-
