Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) – Vacancy Announcement

Overview

Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent, non-profit Palestinian NGO dedicated to advocating for women’s rights and gender equality through its Empowering Women, Information and Research, and Advocacy and Outreach programs. In implementing its strategy to achieve its vision, WAC is guided by international human rights principles, including empowerment and participation, equality and non-discrimination, and accountability, to ensure justice and dignity for women

WAC is committed to gender equality, social justice, and enhancing the well-being of women, particularly those living in marginalized communities

:Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is seeking qualified female candidates to fill the following positions

 Social Media Specialist

:Key Responsibilities

.Manage social media platforms, particularly Facebook, including posting, engagement, and messaging-

.Design digital and print materials, including infographics, using Canva and/or Adobe-

.Produce digital content supporting training programs, awareness campaigns, and success stories-

.Organize and coordinate online networking events and webinars using Zoom and Google Meet-

.Provide technical and organizational support for online meetings with partners and experts-

.Prepare digital performance reports and analyze key indicators-

.Monitor and analyze the impact of digital campaigns and communication activities-

:Required Qualifications & Experience

.Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Digital Media, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field-

.At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably with NGOs-

.Ability to create digital designs and visual content using Canva and/or Adobe-

.Experience in content creation, storytelling, and digital campaigns-

.Good command of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive)-

.Knowledge of content management systems and digital reporting tools is an asset-

.Strong communication and teamwork skills-

.Very good command of written and spoken English-

Technical Support Specialist

:Key Responsibilities

.Provide technical support to staff and project participants regarding digital platforms and IT-related systems-

.Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet connectivity, and user access issues-

.Support the setup and management of online meetings, webinars, and virtual training sessions-

.Maintain digital records and ensure proper use of organizational IT resources-

.Assist in managing digital learning platforms and communication tools-

.Prepare technical reports and recommendations to improve system performance-

.Coordinate with external service providers when needed-

:Required Qualifications & Experience

.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field-

.At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably with NGOs-

.Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting-

.Experience with online collaboration tools and virtual meeting platforms-

.Strong problem-solving and communication skills-

.Ability to work independently and within a team-

.Very good command of written and spoken English-

 :Project Assistant

Key Responsibilities

.Provide administrative and logistical support for project implementation-

.Assist in organizing workshops, meetings, training sessions, and events- 

.Support project documentation, filing, and record management-

.Follow up on project activities, timelines, and deliverables-

.Assist in data collection, reporting, and monitoring activities-

.Coordinate communication with beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders-

.Support the preparation of narrative and administrative reports-

.Provide written translation and interpretation support (Arabic-English) for project activities, meetings, reports, training materials, and communication with partners and stakeholders-


:Required Qualifications & Experience

.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Humanities, or any other relevant field-

.At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably with NGOs-

.Good organizational and time-management skills-

.Experience in report writing and documentation-

.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace-

.Strong communication and interpersonal skills-

.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines-

.Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong translation and interpretation skills-
