English-Arabic Translation

BACKGROUND

Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent and non-profit Palestinian NGO with the purpose of advocating women’s human rights and gender equality through empowering women, information and innovative research and advocacy programs. While implementing its strategy to fulfil its vision, WAC is guided by international human rights principles including empowerment and participation; equality and non-discrimination; and accountability to ensure justice and dignity for women. 

WAC has partnered with Danish Representative Office in Ramallah (DRO) to implement the project entitled “Strengthening Human Rights and Democratic Accountability”. Within the framework of project activities, WAC intends to translate press releases, documents, reports, manuals, policies, etc. from English to Arabic and vice versa.


PURPOSE

WAC seeks the services of a highly qualified and experienced translator to provide translation for its press releases, documents, reports, manuals, policies, etc. from English to Arabic and vice versa.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Translator will:

  • Translate written or spoken material from English to Arabic or vice versa.
  • Ensure meaning and context are maintained.
  • Translate online, video, and television media by providing subtitles

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES

All written or spoken material from English to Arabic or vice versa.
